It's been a bit tricky up till now but I've eventually finished the cutlass. The Body section is a bit heavier than I expected but I still think it will swim well.

I've made various colours to take home and test in December, cant wait.

Here's another picture. I haven't made the tail section mould out of silicone but only out of plaster of paris, so it isn't as great as I want it. I'll make the silicone mould once all the changes have been made after they've been tested.

These are the bits and pieces I've made to take home and test. There is another head in the mould and eyes and finer detail still need to be added to the gold head.

I simply ran out of time and couldn't finish the other things I was busy with.

HA HA HA HA, now we're talking, that's just the type of talk I like to hear!! Lets hope there's lots of good weather.

The following three pictures are the final instalment, and are the see through cutlass heads with the glow stick inserted. Hopefully the next pictures I put up here are the results of the last 2 months hard work.

As it's all new and still experimental I won't be disappointed if I don't get a pull. If a hammerhead swims by without touching these lures then there's a problem, hammers aren't scared to try anything as most of you know.

I'm hoping to weight one of these glow heads with tail, and drop it down to a reef in the wee hours of the morning when it's still pitch black down there and then slowly bounce it up and down.

I'm very interested to see what this contraption produces off the reef.

Well here goes, and if the weather permits I'll do my best to test and compile a little report on the results.

PS: I do this in fear of being branded the CHOCKNEL of the lure forum, but hey someone's got to try these daft things.
