Hi

Unfortunately could not go fish today. Back is giving me serious problems, walking around like the Hunchback of Notredamme. Definetely not fishing enough.
Great catches there and congrats to the fisherman.

Nice catches was made yesterday at Broken road. One fish came out on bloodworm and one on what sounded like Pudding worm, unfortunately did not see the worm so can not realy for sure say what it was.
Nou ja soos hulle se, "I will be Back"

Cheers

Klink soos my pa, en sy naam is ook Sakkie...  Hy kom deesdae maar min by die see.

Spent an hour fishing this afternoon from about 4pm at Sonwabi. No one else was fishing probably due to bad weather.Really got colder with biting cold NW wind and packed it in after hour with no bites and driving rain that was that stinging unpleasant type owing to wind/gustiness.Looks similar for tomorrow & maybe Saturday, with Sunday apparently best day of weekend.

two 50-55cm steenies came out at sonwabi yesterday, both on salted bloodworm (both released at my insistance).one monster came out on tuesday at 2pm (17KG) what a beautifull fish , unfortunately this one went home.surprising as i do believe that over 10KG they are not as nice eating.must have been 10+ years old.I will be there on sunday again as the water was great at around low tide.

Went down to Sonwabi this afternoon. Did not have time to get fresh worm, so had to do with some salted frozen worm. Water looked good with no rain and very little wind. Water temp measured at 14.8 degrees. Caught 3 Steenbra's. All just size. The one that came home with me will be on the coals tommorow.
The realy big ones did not show up and i had to leave due to running out of worm.
Heard rumours from guys that some big steamers was hooked on Monday evening. Looks like the fish is here. Sunday should be good if the weather holds.

Caught a stenie caught a stenie!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was a team effort tho. Story goes, i gave getaway some sinkers he gave me some worm, i used a trace i checked trophy use for kob, with a knot i saw someone else use on a circle at another pic to "snel" my "skelm" hoekie.

Caught the fish in the corner of the mouth, perfect hookup on my 1/0 skelm hoekie. If i was just fishing the one hook like always would have just had a wonderful run and no fish. Exactly like the guy next to me had to endure...

So thanx to past advice and for new sealine members met this morning.

A 100m dash and 200m far high fives were given all round...

The fish was 57cm long, and is back in the backline chowing bloodworm vir n vale, so i can take it home next time.....

Have to say it wasnt easy throwing that beautiful fish back, and got that WHAT ARE U DOING look from one or 2 anglers again. I actually got sick after i brought it out on the beach from the excitement. Cast 3 overwinds after that...

Once again thanx guys.
