I'm selling my Pentagon so I won't need the spare tip anymore. It's a 7-9oz (medium) tip with Pacific Bay guides. It currently has black with red binding. I don't know what it's worth but I know what I paid for it so the first one with a reasonable offer can have it.

Was looking for some shad last night then this happened. Luckily I carried an extra reel otherwise my inght would have been over.

Hey Guys I got this tip on the internet. If you leave your nylon castnet overnight in a solution of water and fabrick softner it makes the net nice and supple. It then makes the net throw and open easier. You should do this the night before. Use it don't use it

From what I can gather on the Purglas website their rods are not graphite but carbon fibre. Is this the case?

Got a quote from my local tackle shop for a 400/4 - 3 piece = R1900 for the blank. It seems a bit expensive as deon only paid R2200 for his 400/6 Custom built. Does anyone have a contact?
