You will have to if you wanna compete in next months challenge. Can't pull a shark on a grinder....Jig I hate casting with a grinder.

I have multiplier reels, and can use them, but prefer the grinders !

For sliding and livebait I go multipliers, for light fishing and spinning I go grinders

I have a Trini 30, 3x 20/40 and a SL50SH
When I go fishing with the POLES I take the Trini and a 20/40

But when light or spinning, my man, NOTHING beats a grinder.

Ofcourse there are some DIE HARDs that don't want to see the light and ADMIT for LIGHT FISHING you simply cannot beat a GRINDER.

Just wait till Trophy gets some line on his Oceano 4500, coupled with a nice 8-10ft rod ... his views WILL CHANGE !

What challenge is this ?

I wonder which grinders I should take with, the Exceller 3000, the Oceano 4500J, the Stradic 8000 or the Spheros 12000, maybe all of them. Will leave the other 20 at home ...

Oh and for REAL shark angling, leave those small multipliers like the Shimano 30 and the Daiwa 50, get yourself A REEL BEAST MACHINE LIKE THIS.

The Trini is for small to med fish (light to med fishing with .52 line)

The Machine is for the BIG ONE that's not getting away

IN Dec i went 2 the water at about 3h00 in the morn rig-up quickly and the first throw  was a overwind , fixed it and the 2nd throw was a better overwind ,took me 15 min to fix that one, and then the 3rd throw a masterpiece of all overwinds, ended up changing reels. it was only then that i saw i didnt put the line through the 2nd last eye of the rod but through the "arms" of the eye. Lost some good fishing time!!!

Felt like a real successful "FART" lukily it was dark with  no- one around !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
