Hi   I am currently busy buying a boat and would like to know if you are required to have any safety equipment. I will be getting myself a fire extinguisher. Is there anything else I must have according to the law(Life jackets? Flares?) The boat will only be used on dams and rivers.

Hi I am in the process of buying a second hand boat. The trailer is currently registred. Will I need to take the trailer for road worthy? What horrors await me? Or do I only need a change of ownership form?

Does anybody have any information on when they might open the dam for fishing again? The last I heard was that they closed it for renovations to the dam wall but there is no timeline on when they might complete the project.
