Registering of a boat and trailer?

Hi
I am in the process of buying a second hand boat.
The trailer is currently registred.
Will I need to take the trailer for road worthy?
What horrors await me?
Or do I only need a change of ownership form?

Hi Tim,

On purchasing by boat and tailer, when registering and licensing the trailer i was asked for a roadworthy, which the trailer luckily had. When i replaced the trailer now with another previously owned one, i registered and licensed it this week and wasnt asked for a roadworthy. So its anyones guess how they work

Hey Tim, found out that if the trailer has been roadworthied within the last 6 months then it wont need to be roadworthied again. The date of last roadworthy shows on the reg documents.
