Fishing in JHB

Hi Guys I am looking for a nice place in or around JHB to go fishing (Carp/bass).
I know of a farm dam down south close to alberton but i am looking for sometning like Rainbow trout farm was.

Any help will be appreciated

got a new bass venue for you.  samrand road.  i know what you thinking! no it's not the quarry and yes i did nail a 1 kg black bass there.  right next to the road near the Jacaranda 94.2 studio, there is a microscopic pond and the corner of rooihiuskraal and samrand road.

try anything watermelon seed and see!

Is dam/pond in Midrand? How big is it?

the dam is in Midrand at the samrand road and rooihuiskraal road intersection.  its no smaller that a fish pond but nevertheless is a fish pond.  those bass take swallows out of the air
