Wheres the fish

So me and my buddy decide to take a drive and see what the water looks like, anyways, we stop at sonwabi, and the water was looking beautiful, so we bait up and cast in , but nothing not a bite nada nuthing, so i bait up again cat and after a minute or two i feel something tugging on the line, excited i strike, but get no response, i then decide to reel in and this little bugger tried to sklempies eat my bait lol

pity you didnt use him as bait, with all the steemers in area i doubt they wouldve declined

Lol yeah he was a ganster.it was close to going home time so i decided to chuck him in the baitbow and take him with the next time i go. Question though.how would i rig him up.or should i just chop him up and take out the meat

You're spot on, on that. when i start to reel in, the bugger is there and usually they let go just before you get your hands on it. Lost time and lost bait.
