When I was a RUBBERBAND I use to grab a AK/BassRod/Mog when I had time off and work the ponds on the Kwondo River. There is a little fish called the African Pike and pound for pound it is maybye the hardest fighting fish in the world.
On my eventual release from said institution ( It just messes with good fishing days) I used to hammer the big tail off whale rock and they use to run a lot later at the end of the season and were bigger then the Krantz fish
It was really disturbing to come across some old pics showing the grunter I was putting back in the water...folks had not even thought about catch and release in those days...still a bit bossies maybye
GT
In the eighties with a high speed rig catching bonnies at the Kranz was shooting fish in a barrel. Still had pieces of military going on but hair was improving and fishing was awesome.
Some nice pics and interesting memories GT... really dig the one of you releasing the Grunter... in the 80's?? You're mal, chyne! Forward thinker of note!
