This is the last post fronm the previous snoek thread, my afrikaans is pretty good but i dont get it!

Lets start a fresh snoek thread, hopefully it will attract some snoek somewhere!!

One of my mates was on rocky bank last weekend!! He caught plenty on snoek, only prob was that they were tiny!!! Can't wait for those beeeg ones to come into buffles!!! Recon we need a nice big storm, not this crazy SE weather!!

Snoek are very quiet at the moment, langaanas are selling some fish but this is all defrosted snoek from a few weeks ago!!

Guys I'm still sticking to my previous estimation. There is a cold front approaching, which would probably hit on Thursday, along with the cold front comes a bit of NW which should heat up the water a bit. Another positive is the fact that its new moon this weekend, which means almost complete darkness at night, so the fish would probably feed during the daytime and not during the night like two weeks back when we came across a lot of life in the water but all the animals looked like the had just came back from an all you can eat buffet.

All in all, I'm guessing that if the weather permits us to get on to the sea this weekend, we might be able to find the fish at last.

Ek sien daai ding snotslang as mens 'n kans kan vat sal dit Vrydag moet wees. Ek sien ook dat die lugdruk gaan nogal redelik val by Dassen Woensdag, van 1023 Dinsdag na 1012 toe teen Woensdag. Is die storie dan nie dat die val in die lugdruk so half die snoek se warning system is om te vreet voor die storm nie?

Just reminiscing about the good 'ol days, when snoek pretty much jumped into the boat when-ever you stopped!!

Here's Hammertime's youngest son, Dylan, pulling one of the 40 odd CONSECUTIVE snoek he pulled that day!! VERY IMPRESSIVE for him to pull that amount of snoek!! He couldn't even see over the gunnel............
