Sheez I remember that day.
He was so seasick it was crazy and then he went vas on the bokstang after you gave him a few tips. Seasickness gone and 40 fish later he was buggered.
He was so proud to offload at kalk baai that day, remember. Then the aunties chirped him he's the man and that really made his day.
At least now, he can break their necks and doesn't throw them all over the show. In fact since he caught that 60 odd kg yellowfin a few months ago he has turned into a fishing machine and a great deckhand to have on board.

Finally!!! A few snoek been caught! My old man is behind the bellows and they found a very nice piece of snoek on the echo, turned on it and caught 4 moerse snoek! Says that the current is like a river though!!! The kalk bay boats apparently laying in buffles and reported catching plenty of those undersize snoekkies!!

Ons het by die oumanne geleer dat "China snoek" maar net klein snoekies is.
Weet nie of hulle regtig reg was nie. Al hoekom ek dink dat hulle na die klein snoekies as China snoek verwys het, is omdat die oumense geglo het dat die chinese kleiner mense is as die Suid-Afrikaners, defnitief kleiner as die senters van die All Blacks.

Manne ek sien die weer het mooi verander vir die naweek! Dit lyk vir my of mens sal Dassen toe kan hardloop. Wie gaan vir ons gaan kyk of die snoek of dalk selfs die geelstert daar is?
Ek gaan maar die naweek gou gaan kyk of ek nie 'n galjoen gevang kan kry nie, hopelik kan ek nog gooi, want ek het nou al gewoont geraak aan net handlyn laat sak.

So it didn't get any beTter unfortunatly! They ended up with 5 massive snoek on the boat out of one piece! The current was apparently as strong as a river!
Hopefully the NW tonight and tom will settle the current and the fish might then bite!

Hoe lank sal ek moet stilbly vir 100 'n man? My kop te seer van die klip wat hom getref het!!

middag ek sien my naam word weereens genoem sonder my toestemming??? nee wat ek is maar hier.... arm maar ordentlik! Vis is maar stil die kant. Ek gaan maar saterdag punt toe meskien het daai klein snoekies in buffels so bietjie lyf gekry na die suid ooste en noordweste winde en daai sterk strome. Wie gaan waar die naweek?
