Reminds me of a really good joke.

Two guys were sittning in a pub talking about the relative merits of their vehicle. The cruser owner was bragging about the fact that his car was entirely dust proof.

To prove it he catches a cat and pops it in the car.

For the hell of it the LR owner catches one and does the same.

They return to their beers and emerge a lot later. True enough the cat in the cruiser is dead as a door nail - suffocated.

The landy owner runs over to his cab eagerly only to find that the cat has escaped :)

come on guys, that Landy must be 30 to 40 years old, probably have a chev engine in. Doubt you can still call it a Land Rover. I could be wrong. I am sure for the first few years just out of the factory it ran just fine.

While searching for Land Rovers on the internet, I noticed nobody has winches??? Is it that they don't need winches or they just don't need them in Sandton??

hey bennie, there are a couple of options available, check out 4x4 megaworld or l.a sports. Do you already have a winch or are you looking for a winch too?

As you can see, there must be something awesome about Land Rovers because everyone has an opinion :)

Hi,
Thanks, I don't need a winch, I can fit myself. Just notices for a supposed to be rugged off roader, nobody has a winch!!

Aye Bennie,

When the Landy gets stuck just pull it out with the new boat :-D

The friend I went to Moz with told me three times his Landy doesn't get stuck. It got stuck three times. Fortunately he had the wrong tyres fitted, even with no air they kept their profile pretty well. At least he had an excuse ;-)

I love my Landy, she is a machine off road I do not think any standard 4x4 can go where a Landy can go standard, on the beach a master and I cannot even count how many 4x4's I have pulled out of the sand, sure she breaks but she is an old lady now (20yrs) and you do not see many old 4x4's working hard every day because most don't last to that age, she is easy to fix and I can get parts anywhere.

Best of all she is mine and paid for.

You do not find many other 4x4's that old around but plenty Landy's, say what you they are an Icon.

Yip, I've been looking for a new 4X4 and all the Landy mileage is very low. Please tell me what they mean by "towing for the purchasers account"??

:walk (Bennie quietly sneaks away)
