Saw this today, can anyone explain please.
Looks like the Land Rover crashed into a bull bar or a cow catcher or what ever they are called. No physical damage but that is enough to break any Land Rover down.

Excellent photo. Could have saved it for one of the photo competitions. Would have won hands down.

Kay Simen,

I actually dig Landcruisers...had one!

The new Yuppy stuff from both Toyota AND Landrover just switches me off :(

Rolled four times down a mountain 1 km from home

Shoulder out of joint

That was THE very first automatic diesel Discovery in the country..I imported it!

Took me EVERYWHERE! The V8 petrol I have now is too sophisticated and no one can maintain them...ESPECIALLY the Landrover dealerships

Sorry about your bakkie :(

Thanks thika.

just glad we can still have a friendly rivalry about our vehicles, nothing personal meant, I guess it just comes down to personal preference.

the new v6 cruiser???? don't know, want to upgrade only this one has to much plastic in the interior.

Hey Simen. Do you know Piet van Zyl from Henties? If you do, I am sure you will agree he must be one of the biggest Toyota Fans. He once had a Toyota Hilux Bakkie and fitted a Rover V8 in it.

I'm a Jeep fan, and one of my friends have mine. He was here a few minutes ago and he complained about the gearbox. Oh well, better he sorts it out now before I get the jeep from him ;-)

Moved over to the dark side!
Must admit, I'm scared sh!tless of the electronics and fancy suspension. But what it does, it does well.

P.S. Still a Toyota fan!

Hi Bennie,

Nice rig .... did same thing myself ... tows just great ... recently left the Lexus at home and towed my pals big Z craft to Inhaca and it did the job.

PS - I have a spare ARB winchbar same as fitted to my Disco ... for approx less 40% of retail if you are interested.

Cheers, Peter
