I missed out very big time; guys had lots of fun. I trust and put my vingers crossed that I'm 'enabled' to attend the next social. Homie my man, well done for the bait clinic; Simen, you must catch the record bronzie in Namibia and outclass Spyker and company.

Check out the photo of Ryan and Wes in front of the Toyota Hilux, and see how the number plate is blank. Yet a few photos earlier, when taken from an angle, the number plate is legible. Who owns the Hilux, and what gives with the number plate.

Hey chaps,

IanF,I noticed the very same and was wondering whether the plate had one of those sprays on so that the speed camera does not pick up the number plate.Little did I realise that Shelock "Reefer"Holmes was in town.Very ingenius Sherlock.

Hi Weedeater.
Thanks for letting us test that Saltist 30 - it is a great reel. Marcelle wound it up to 110m and was looking good.

First casting lesson:
Listen to whatever Reefman and Magman have to say.
These guys have yonks of knowledge and experience and share it willingly.
Reefman has an excellent off the ground cast, a technique that forms the basis of all forms of distance casting.
Mag-man has brought with him the fundamentals of the pendulum, which is an extension of the ground cast and therefore these guys compliment each other fantastically.
After that it is look, learn and practice.

Just think about the swing, speed up the lead and let rip.

Good casting friend.
(Stop looking at the reel - feel it with your thumb - look at the sky)
Pleasure! Anytime.

Hallo to all big and small.
My apologies for thanking everybody only now for making the GP social such a huge success.
My Monday started very hectic in getting everything ready for our move to Namibia.

Special thanks to ANDRIES & GARRICK for the prizes arranged. MAGMAN- for the casting tips. HOMIE -for the bait presentation. ROYBOY/LINDA --feedback from their Bazaruto trip.Last but not least. The ever present REEFMAN for support, photos, Hall- donation and for just always being there to help in any way needed.

Also a big THANK YOU to all the wives and children who attended.
Then all the SEALINE MEMBERS- Thanks to all of you. Without you events like this wont take place.

Following some pics taken on the day.
