Last weekend of April or 1st weekend in May? There are a bunch of public holidays in the week between (a 2 day work week I believe)so maybe on 1 of the public holidays during that week?
I am off to Baz on Friday 9th May and back on Sunday 18th, so would be a great opportunity to get the last minute tips from GL, RM, Simen etc.

Only made murmurings about changing Baza dates as i am not so poular disappearing on fishing trips from 12 April - 27 May. we gonna have to hook up some time on 11 April or next time we meet will be at Baza. Yup the house is happening, down to the details. I do believe that there are fish there......and Langebaan is just down the road. Some monster elf come out there for sure.

Our skipper at Kilwa says they had perfect weather and they did very well around islands where we could not get to . . . . so always next time . . .352 days to go

Bloody Hell......you got fish at Kilwa (granted - not as many as you hoped for but I was jealous as all hell when I saw what you guys did catch!).
Skippers ALWAYS say there was perfect weather (the week before AND the week after your trip)and on the odd occasion the great weather happens DURING the trip. Bets are on that the whole of May will be GREAT at Baz.
Nothing beats the power of positive thinking (hoping, praying, begging for ideal conditions).
Will do, I am in Ladysmith Wednesday and Thurs, so Friday afternoon should be good.
