Unfair to the reels !! How could they carry on telling stories if they don't get an opportunity ? They are still waiting for the big one !! the one that is not going to get away. If you don't believe me put it on a rod cast it in and see for yourself ?
Every day another reel got a chance for the big one to get hooked

My first Penn 49A was R22.00, my first 375/2 was R14.00 and my first KP 6 inch was R18.00 all from Kings sports in west street. I mostly still have all my tackle from those days that I haven't broken, and all of it, I still use today. I got different tackle for different beaches, boats, kayaks and so on. Habits die hard and I find it difficult to adapt my throw to 14 foot rods and Yankee reels. My collection is very extensive and my favorite boat reels are Penn senator 6/0's 2013 models which I purchased from Bass pro in the states online

HI,how would you as Penn specialists rate the Senator Special 4/0 (ball bearing), any good? In what year did they surface. Sorry for the questions, bought it from a homeless guy for R150, but in perfect order (fresh water fishing only)
