Have any of you ever felt like just giving up? With fishing that is. Not in the mood to go fish or just lost the interest?

Not yet.... Came close to throwing the one rod and reel i owned into the sea at Gouritz tho because of losing my dream cracker.

Roland with the success you've had you should be chomping at the bits...

Wat's die storie...

HI Roland,

Once, for a few days in February in Namibia.

It is a very very very bad feeling, hope you don't have it or don't last too long!!!

buddy,

all i can say is.....

DONT LET NOTHING IN LIFE STEAL YOUR JOY!!!

You are a winner, and nobody can take that away from you!!!!

here are some awesome facts for you...
  1. You will catch many more PB[/*]
  2. You WONT loose your love for the sport![/*]
  3. You will need more bait for all the fish you are going to catch!!!![/*]
and then you (and we) must be very grateful and thank full of the following:
  1. Our left thumb, for casting...[/*]
  2. two hands, two arms for your fishing....[/*]
  3. your heart and mind, for saying thank you for what you have........and for all the fish you caught....[/*]

I have had that feeling before but it was a culmination of a lot of things at the time and the appeal wasn't there any more.

Hang in there it will pass.......

Very wise words
There was a time fishing competitively that everything went wrong for me
It so happened that I ended up with 11 Mombakkies ,Blanks call it what you want to more than a year.
I would go fish directly after a comp and hammer tha sharks ,but on the comp day ,everything went wrong.
But I never gave up ,just kept on fishing ........
All I can say this GAME is bigger than any of us ,and it will pass ,the next big pull and you will wonder why you ever thought of something this stupid in the first place
Good luck boet

Roland,

You have become an inspiration to many of us. We were there for all the effort of learning to cast the multiplier, your first PB, your first off shore adventure.

You are like the "truman" of sealine for me.

You will have many more PB's, way more than many of us can dream of.

Hang in there

Klink my soos 'n ernstige babalasssssss....
