Hoosen

U Da Man, I changing it right now, and will continue to look for the one that slaps it behind like that purple hippo of Shayne (who's your daddy style), thanks man.

Have you checked the vid clips on that link above, some serious action there....

Worked out that incl shipping it's gonna be around R400 ZAR for the promo as pictured in my previous post on them snakebaits, so I dunno if I wanna spend that amount and perhaps it doesn't work, I'll see at teh Tight lines Expo, perhaps they might have some there somewhere if not then I'll consider ordering them from the USA.

You can only buy the snakes from that guys web site. I have loads of email from him. I even tried getting a dealer ship from him to sell them in SA but nothing. Only from him. BTW I must give you his book. It’s called Big Bass Magic

I saw one at the Shimano factory when I was in JHB last time, the one he had was the 10" size.

I asked the guy if he actually thought he would catch a Bass with that, and his reply??
I already have....
So no need to get them from overseas boys

This was the fish that was taken on that Doug Hannon Snake

trophy_southafrica.jpg

This Florida Strain Largemouth Bass was caught in South Africa
using the Brown Rat Snake Original Fishing Snake lure available here.
Bottomed out a 6kg scale and is 755 mms long (That's 30 inches long est. weight 17 lb's)
I am not sure about the dam. But there is a section at Witbank that looks like this

Loams

Do you know of any other places around PTA and JHB i.e. Mias, that sells these and please tell me the price?

Oh and is the body constructed of hard or soft plastic and is that the only colour they come in?  I'm asking cause all I seem to be able to find is the thundercore minnow and that seems like a rapala styled hardbait, and isn't jointed.

There is a place in PTA that sells them. Will find out the name today

Johanvc

Thanks, man, do you know where it's located? Perhaps, I know the place, cause I frequent these PTA tackle shops like nobody's business lately,

Leons Angling - Mayville

Zambesi Angling - Montana

Angling Africa - Lenchen Centurion

Bass World - Centurion

Rod and Marine - Doornpoort

Bouwer Broers - Gezina

Pratland Angling - Clubview Centurion

And one in East-lynn dunno the name Stormvoël ave.

Is it perhaps any of those, reason I'm asking is I migt pop in during lunch?

I went out for lunch to wash the car and get the Cruiser's finance sorted but instead had to pop in at Bassworld, R219-60 later I still didn't find them kickin minnows that Loams posted, they do however sell them but the thing is they only have the fire-tiger patren and not the one that Loams had in his post, and I reckon that one (in Loams's post) will work as it looks alot like a small kurper and as far as I know thats what them basses have been gulping up the last couple of months so, it should still work like Magic.

Now, I'll have to go heck another store, but Sat I'll be back at Bass-world, da Kid wants to buy stuff, and then I'll quickly go around to the other two in Centurion.

BTW, Bass-world's Zoom products is landing in JHB 2morrow so their stock will be packed on the shelves by Wednesday.
