Man it's like I said yesterday, it's the "bosses" B-day next week Wednesday but her sister is throwing a party this Sat and her boyfriends farm, so from now until next week Wednesday fishing is going to be very hard if not impossible, due to, however I've applied for leave for the 25th of May to go to Bass lake, but haven't heard anything yet ito it being approved, but will let you know as soon as I do get feedback.

Ok that’s fine. But I am free the whole of next week as I will be working from home next week :)

I know you can’t make it but I am sure there are other people on this site that might be able to come.

I don’t mind fishing alone. The wife just wants me to take some body with, and I could use the company

Have you considered placing a post in the Gauteng social events section for RDW just above the freshwater section?

If not perhaps you'll get some better responses when you've done so.

Just a suggestion.

Johan,

Can I give you an answer in the morning. We got a few projects on the go and I need to finalise some of them today. I would love to do RDW.

Cheers

That’s fine. Let me know. Going to be a relaxing day as the rubber duck only has a 55HP motor on

It finally arrived at Toyota during last week, but my friend (who needs enemies) jumped me and tried to get it before me as a trade-in on his 2007 Cruiser thats only got about 12000 on the clock, bastard, anyhow he decided otherwise due to a friends serious acident (still critical in wilgers, been a week and a half now) and needs to get a car for the friends fiance, so I'm going in on Monday to apply for finance, that will also still give them time to fix all the extras, bull-, roll-, tow bar, mags, ruberising, step plates etc. etc.

So I doubt if it'll be ready by the 25th but if not then we can do like you proposed, not a prob.

Oh and the line that I've got spooled up?

Well on the med rod I've got 12lb and on the heavy rod I've got either 17lb or 20lb not too sure but will be able to confirm tomorrow.
