Okay guys so last night I fished gonubie point, here is the report.
Okay so I get there around 6:45 rig up the /8+1 and finnor 30 and gooi a 10oz from the right hand bench straight out towards the point. I then rigged up a whole makkie slide bait and sent it out for 70 minutes, when I reeled it in it was gone, so I then decided to send out a shad head and guts from the slipway straight out and after an hour or so wade lands a raggie in the 40kg range, lekker so I decide to reel in and cast a little further to the right as there was a nasty rip to the left, wrapped 2 fillets from the back end of a friggate and sent it out with the shad head, then at 11:25 we reeled in and called it a day. A nice 25kg grey was landed by some other guys while we were there too.Soooo...what lesson did you learn last night???....Huh?

Been fishing 1 year learned allot thanks to fellow sealiners and the tips recieved here and there on sealine. ESA got me into fishing and being at the sardine run last year in Durban. The fishing just looked cool and people were having a good time. The thing I like about fishing is you never know what you gonna catch or how big it is gonna be. Why I fish? Personally it an obsession and it relaxes my mind.Dave Batista wrote:

Buy el cheapo white gumboots ,then you will have some left for a rod stand![]()

I have a pair of the expensive ones I used for a few months, took 3 hard falls in them so I went out and bought the old faithful white boots with orange soles. There is no better rock and surf shoe than a pair of white gumboots
