Word is that the swell is not to bad but the east is still blowing. I'll be there at about 7 and I might go straight to the far bench but I'll decide when I get there.

Ja I rekon we fish to the right of the slip way as boepens left allot of his line in the water and thus made me loose everything as a result of a snap off. Will get there anytime from 7pm onwards, lets hope for the best.

As I'd hoped the wind dropped and with it the swell but all that there was to show for it was a grey of about 25kg and then Wade got a Raggie of 50kg. The Big Bags are still AWOL.

Okay guys so last night I fished gonubie point, here is the report.
Okay so I get there around 6:45 rig up the /8+1 and finnor 30 and gooi a 10oz from the right hand bench straight out towards the point. I then rigged up a whole makkie slide bait and sent it out for 70 minutes, when I reeled it in it was gone, so I then decided to send out a shad head and guts from the slipway straight out and after an hour or so wade lands a raggie in the 40kg range, lekker so I decide to reel in and cast a little further to the right as there was a nasty rip to the left, wrapped 2 fillets from the back end of a friggate and sent it out with the shad head, then at 11:25 we reeled in and called it a day. A nice 25kg grey was landed by some other guys while we were there too.
