Now we really got excited!
We had released a grand slam and with another 2 hours of fishing still had a good chance of getting a super grandslam, which would be the first that we know of in Mozambique!
Unanimously we agreed to go shallower and try to get a Black.
The sea had now a little chop and with an hour to go I decided to change the long right tube for a pakula Rat and bang withing 10 minutes it gets taken and a 250 pound Black starts jumping on our wake. The fish was going ballistic and jumping towards us. I guh the bat fast ahead as everyone trid to clear the remaining lines as fast as possible. Didi got strapped in and the fish was still going completely crazy to out port side when we saw the hook go flying!
It was not to be but it had been an awesome day and with a nice scotch in hand we run home!
