2 Weekends ago we fished Oranjeville with our and Vereeniging Club comp.

No snagging and we weighed bags of 46 and 43 fish

Inloop is a great place to fish but if you're pushed into the stone ridges the your snagging at Oranjeville will be a walk in the park compared to what can happen at Inloop

Boschkop is also a good venue with clean water and accessable roads (just before Steyns)

Hi all.

Why don`t we wait as Enigma sugested and see where the fish are bitting first.!!

Especialy considering that its starting to become a little cold so fish are a bit unpredictable when it comes to the bite, and also if its only going to be a one day affair it would make even more sence to follow this approach.!!

It would also be nice to try out and learn a differant venue other than the one wev`e already been to..!!::happyd:

Enigma how did your fishing comp go on the weekend of the 25th..?

Hemp seed is for specimen anglers. Met jou komp daar, het jy erties probeer? EN mielies? Ons het al baie karp daar gevang met erties.

Ek dink die sleutel woord vir die volgende social is DIEP WATER !! Dit gaan koud wees, en die visse gaan diep wees.

Kan steeds nie se of ek die volgende meet kan maak nie, maar 'n oop kole plek met diep water is Kruger Plaas reg oorkant Tago.

Het al mooi karp daar getrek met molasse broodjie backing en erties.

Blykbaar volgens oom Johan Kruger die eienaar is daar 'n ou rivierbedding wat maak dat die water so diep is.

Ek sal dit oorweeg om oor te slaap. En ek sal self n paar babers wil vastrek as daar n kans is. Soos die weer nou lyk, het die reen darem nou opgehou. So dit beteken ons gaan lekker hengel.
