    Bolt on Rod-Holder (Scotty type)

    Has anyone tried this nylon scotty type rod holder for forward mounting/baiting up etc. Was on special for only R200 from a local on-line store! Last I checked Scotties were over R500 a few years ago. Not sure if they still have them available at this price. Also not sure of the size or diameter...

    Offshore, Ski-boat fishing

    Guys Mate of mine, caught his first fish yesterday, on his first outing, outfishing everybody! The only fish caught on the day, a Couta of 19Kg's. I think he might just be a new fishing convert now. Pic's and details to follow shortly. Cheers
