Yellow fin anyone???

anyone catching any fish in the deep lately??

Yebo Cool Blue! Yellowfin COOKIN around P/E.No big fish though.Never seen so many juveniles in my life.6 miles long and as far as the eye could see.All 3-20 kg.Should be a good season.

Thanks for that! No fireworks in the canyon, went out there and got a big KNOP. So as they say nothing to report!!!

Man would I love to catch one of those, even 3kg and my tackle would be bust

We went out on Saturday. Got ourselfs 3 YF & 16 LF. YF +/- 60Kg & LF +/- 30Kg. We lost 1 YF due to broken lure. All caught on the troll. Could not get them to go on the bait or spinners, even had jigs in the water. They all had squirt, hake & praws[yes, swimming praws-unbelievable] in their guts. We saw two longliners out there, that is where the hake is from. The fish is here, just hope they will stay a while for us to enjoy them.

We got 19-20 deg water about 15 miles out, but the water was very green. We only got blue water about 25 miles out. Within 5 mins after hitting the blue water we started trolling and we were on. Fisrt 1 YF vas with other sticking around for two minutes. Thereafter the LF kept us busy. They were all sitting between 20 & 30m deep, making it easy to spot the lures.

Rome. Is the Tune in the waters around the Cape or up in PE that you talk about.i Havent been out for a while. But alwise nice to know wats happening out there.

The only fish taken was a fish here and a fish there... We're still waiting for them to come visit..

Guys the fish are back. Yellow Fin in the canyon and as close as 22 and 14. Everyone that was out on Saturday caught nice fish everywhere. Next week is Offshore Classic out of Gordans Bay so get your gear ready and FISH FISH FISH...
