Hey Guys!!

Went down to Winklespruit this weekend to get a feel for the area and to see what could end up at the end of my line. Would like to thank Master and the boys who made the trip a real nice one with a laugh a min!! YOU GUYS ARE GREAT!!:clap12

Took a few snaps of a couple of fish that came out. Looks like a good Comp next weekend.:first

Your right about that V. As you saw its not the best spot to land a fish. This guy lost a monster too!!::eek:op::

Nice fish guys well done....cant wait till I get back home to get some fishing in....still at work here in Angola...oh well tight lines and make the next cast for me

Hehehe..i had fun too guys...eh, mr volcom and darry "visvang" visser my legs are still fkin sore mates! I agree V, its gonna be an interesting comp, i wanna see a competitor kiss and release a prizewinning garrick only to have one off our teammates pull a bigger one! Lol...its gonna be interesting to say the least!

To those people unfamiliar with winkle's...the most productive area to be fishing would be the high rocks and the surf area to the right off high rocks approx 200m wide,targeted fish being shad,southern pompano,garrick....hope this help's guys...

I'm trying to picture 50 entrants with 2 rods each, plus locals/outsiders all fishing high rocks and 200m of beach..........hectic!

Fish were caught by two locals (brothers). One could seriously see the "loco-motion" to them!! hehehehehe, literally racing up and down the rocks..... (not the friendliest of all rocks i may add) Although the on the flip side two guys that gave us a good laugh, imparted wisdom and yea... just totaly rocked!

Live bait was the order of the day.

Just a question or two though......since the comp is branded TWO OCEANS CHALLENGE and since we are fishing on a point system..... Did admin realise this aint a top spot for ineds? :dunno1 and where exactly are the boundries? Cuz if it is indeed from High rock and down south to the nearest point.... damn..... as the ever famous MJ put it...... "HECTIC!!!!!!" ::H

Ahh Kish, Kish, Kish...... if only you didnt pack SO much ud be ok today!!! :cool:

Hehehe...approx 100rod's on that small beach...its be fun bru! Add a drift an sw wind with the cold an its gonna be the very brave who would be fishing right thru to close off..
