 I have to work as the Head of Engineering (Southern African  Division) for a global gold mining company to support my fishing habit. NO we don't get it any cheaper than the rest of you.

Down side is they all close to the Valley and you miles out.

kk, I am a retired firefighter with 30 years service. (...ooooops daar gaan my ouderdom.....)

Have had my own IT Company for the last 10 years.

I am also a professional Fire Consultant.

So there you go.....

Been fishing for the last 20 years mainly in Nam (twice a year - March & Sept/Oct/Nov.

Used to fish competitively for Goodwood Angling Club.

Drink plenty of Squadron rum and am rather pickled in it :)

Love to cook.

So yeah, dis ekke :)

A bit about my new job

I am now an Entomologist with the Malaria Research Lead programme of the Medical Research Council. Ins short I am studying the mosquitoes responsible for malaria transmission. The area that I am resonsible for is the gaza region of Mozambique, and HQ there is in Xai-Xai. I spend most of my time at the MRC offices in Overport, Durban.

I am working for the department of Agriculture as an animal health technician. We control animal disease outbreaks that could be harmful to people or the country's economy.
