Hi Guys,

below is the result of the Umdloti fishingski comp by Keith Hockley.

Hey Volcom/Mickjack - how about that iggy that took 1st place.

WELL DONE TO UMDLOTI FOR ANOTHER WELL RUN COMPO . THE WEATHER WAS GREAT BUT THE WATER WAS VERY OFF COLOUR . CONSIDERING THE WATER COLOUR BEING SO BAD THE RESULTS WERE NOT THAT BAD .

THERE WERE 71 FISH CAUGHT BY 49 OF THE 195 ANGLERS WHO FISHED . TOTAL WEIGHT CAUGHT WAS 623.32 KG,S.

FIRST PLACE - LAIRD SHOOTER 19.73 KINGIE
SECOND PLACE - CHRIS ALLEN 18.36 COUTA
THIRD PLACE - MARCUS POTGIETER 18.36 COUTA
FOURTH PLACE - CARL SCHLOMS 17.66 KINGIE

Yoh!! I hooked a King +- 15kg off Vidal point on my flick stick.... ended up near Bats Cave, Mission Rocks..... eventually reefing me. Can only imagine how this King fought ey Khani? ::H Lovely Catch!!!

A mate of mine fished that comp too...... Says he was taken just off the launch Zone, all they heard was loud splashing, guys all shouted, "Sailie!!!!" but eventually the guys tawt it was rather a Bull Dorado.... being pulled at a hell of rate too fast for the other guys to latch on, and a gud couple of minutes later..... hahahaha, Fred surfaced a Black Fin of about 20kg....

Sad hey..... lol.

All four of the fish deserve a first prize...should imagine a paddleski with rudder and foot controls become very important when being towed by any of the above!

Shew!!!I can only imagine the fight these guy's must have had.I read an artical yesterday in a local newspaper THE Bugel and it had a pic of a Huge mussel cracker i think that was chowed in half by a shark,i think if it was me on the ski and i saw a shark chasing my fish i would have Sh@t  myself silly.I commend these oaks it take big b@@ls to sit there and paddle and get these kind of results..
