Hey pasta.i must ask.Do you hook a lot of flatfish with the double weighted slides?

You do pick up flat fish. But sharks also takes it. You must remeber to make the trace from your sinker to the stopper longer. other wise your bait will be on the ground the whole time.

How long do you make the line from sinker to stopper ring.
And how long is the entire sliding trace?

Is it preferable for sharks if your bait is hanging in the air?

what also works well is to use the system the Bass guys secure the Milo weight to their rigid, except don't use rubber. Jam a toothpick into the hole of the weight (between wire and weight) and the weight is fixed in place.

Bamboes - When I do use this trace I make my Trace from Sinker to stopper round about 50 - 60 cm.

My trace with the slide is round about 80 -90 cm.

I use this for sharks. Flat fish also go for this. Depending on how big your Bait is.
