It was nice meeting the old and the new and seeing so many families was excellent.

Well then Friday came and off we went to Tugela for some hopefully nice fishing.
I got there at about 4 and Andries and OFC were there allready.
The sea was big at this time.
Later all the others arrived and we greated all and made our rounds.
Early Sat Habib,Freddie and the others Maritsbury chaps arraved.We went out and tried our luck on the beach with no success.
Went back for a chow or 2.
Later the arvie we went fishing in the river with even less luck. At least Emps got a small fishy and I got a eel.Andries also got a small specemen and his daugter got a rockballie.Of the others I dont know.
Sat we went out again with Nash and friends and with Ruler joing us for the ev. to a very nice looking hole a bit further down hoping for a cobbie or 2. All that happened there was that I frose my but off.
Sun back to the river again with no luck again.
At least it was a very well worth weekend spent with friens and family.
Thanks to all who made the weekend so special.

yeah fishing was on the quiet side but weather seemed to faithfu,clear skies no rain so it was good for fishing , problem rough seas and huge swells

my first time meeting some fellow sealiners

it was all in all an awsome weekend

next time we gonna get some pulls

hey guys - im heading to tugela early october. was wondering if there is any sand / mud prawn in the river? worth taking a prawn pump with?
