Suggestion:
Not sure if currently available, was thinking of collecting data from the sealine forum, for statistical use. Information can include Weather, Date, Bait, Catch, Location.
There's many ways of accomplice this and will be happy to assist.
Any suggestions, interested?
This same idea was proposed before & fell away. Not a bad idea & i had considered similarly,BUT...it's an angler's prerogative if he wants to release info on where he caught his fish, and most don't like to tell, which as mentioned is their prerogative. You'd need authentification wrt catches, bait, etc,as some guys constantly change their bait with each cast & lose touch with what they've used last. To do this properly you'd require full time fishermen, and there's not many of those fortunate types around.Guys who hold down a job, mostly fish weekends only.Regarding Sealine admin helping,Sealine has been setting all sorts of records on line & mods, admin just can't keep up from what i hear, due to increased traffic on Sealine. So,the initial concept sounds good, but I personally feel there are too many variables to consider for this to reach fruition, and hence why it fell away once before.I've heard of cob being caught one day on Chokka & next day switches to worm, with no interest in Chokka.Water temps differ from spot to spot at times, which also would throw stats out the window.According to a particular site, best time to fish is 2 days before Full moon & 1 day after full moon - Doesn't always work owing to conditions, etc. So,call me a sceptic, but stats are only what's written on paper, and not always a true reflection nor an answer to determining what will happen if you follow the same protocol.
