Suggestion:

Not sure if currently available, was thinking of collecting data from the sealine forum, for statistical use. Information can include Weather, Date, Bait, Catch, Location.

There's many ways of accomplice this and will be happy to assist.

Any suggestions, interested?

Very good idea. Over time you'll be able to get a pattern on when and where curtain fish are caught and what bait are used. All on one page.

Simen, thanks for bringing to my attention, but it's not really the profile information we are after it's more the location and information of the catch.

Gave it some thought last night, initially you want to go and find all the information from the forum's to build up information, but for future plans you can have a page were you can enter the detail and summit it, this will save you the time of searching the post's and it will be in the correct format.

Keep a eye on the post will post some mock up's of how it can look.

Maybe something like this.
What information would one normally want?

Thanks Obsession, I must get hold of the administrators of the website. Will email them and see if I can get in contact.

This will be such a useful tool not only for general statistics but personal information, under your account we can add the member's catches and this will be like a log book.

The way forward would be up to the administrators of the site.

Thanks Obsession, this is the response I was hoping for. If sealine don't want to do it we can start our own website.

Will do my best and keep you informed.

Great idea tALJAARD!

Would be great if this could be a common thread where members can merely fill in the capture form.

This same idea was proposed before & fell away. Not a bad idea & i had considered similarly,BUT...it's an angler's prerogative if he wants to release info on where he caught his fish, and most don't like to tell, which as mentioned is their prerogative. You'd need authentification wrt catches, bait, etc,as some guys constantly change their bait with each cast & lose touch with what they've used last. To do this properly you'd require full time fishermen, and there's not many of those fortunate types around.Guys who hold down a job, mostly fish weekends only.Regarding Sealine admin helping,Sealine has been setting all sorts of records on line & mods, admin just can't keep up from what i hear, due to increased traffic on Sealine. So,the initial  concept sounds good, but I personally feel there are too many variables to consider for this to reach fruition, and hence why it fell away once before.I've heard of cob being caught one day on Chokka & next day switches to worm, with no interest in Chokka.Water temps differ from spot to spot at times, which also would throw stats out the window.According to a particular site, best time to fish is 2 days before Full moon & 1 day after full moon - Doesn't always work owing to conditions, etc. So,call me a sceptic, but stats are only what's written on paper, and not always a true reflection nor an answer to determining what will happen if you follow the same protocol.
