Thanks for that info. I will certainly check out that website. Salt water flyfishing is relatively new but there certainly is a lot of interest. I took a couple on my boat recently who only wanted to fish for Dorado on fly rods. A mate of mine caught some on fly a few weeks back just off Durban.
I must agree, fishing in a trout dam is somewhat limiting. I much prefer going for the wild ones in the rivers etc. Bass on fly rod is also very exciting. I would certainly recommend that. They give a much more exhilirating fight than the trout.
Although I do enjoy dropshot fishing as well, I find it too similar to Bass fishing. The only real benefit for me is that the species range is far greater when dropshot fishing. I like my fights big and ugly!
