Rolling on new line

Good day all

I've put new line on my spools several times before and it always went alright, but there are some things I want to confirm, for example when reeling the new line on,should I hold the line between my fingers? Also, should I reel fast or slow?

This is unrelated, but another question: Is the Sensation Velocity made of pure graphite or is it composite graphite? Is there a better rod for the same price?

Regards

I would suggest you send ENIGMA a PM, he will be able to give you solid tips.

Jacques...you want to maintain some line tension while you re-spool your reels, with either nylon(mono)or braid.

You also want to maintain a good 'lay' of line, ie keeping it close together creating 'even' layers on the spool.

I would not be reeling in too fast neither, just normal, so that you do the above...properly.

Remember, best lay of line on the spool, will prevent overwinds if any.
Another tip, remove line from top of spool - reel line onto top of spool.

As far as Sensation products,... no comment!

Best advice I can give is what I do..

After every respool I always B4 taking my 1st throw rig with a sinker only and cast down the beach or if a sand bottom into the sea.

The re-loading and stretch of the line is then extended and ur a 4 away to fish.
