lovely trip guys.

i cant beleive that over 10 rods with live mullet didnt get a pick up. argh anyways....was nyc to meet up again. we must do this soon again.....transkei though

btw.....richards bay gays got a hiding......kzn team landed 1 salmon. i think it was shikz who landed it. nice to have met shikz and gang.

oh ya.....action lytie and i were throwing cast net in the river.....we also got 3 fish. a toby is still a fish so we won hahahaha

Sounds Like it was a nice get-together!!!

Your results were not much different from ours at Maphelane. Ice-cold waters, pumping winds and lotsa rain made fishing challenging to say the least. In the end reverted to scratching and worked real hard for a couple of blackail and wave-garrick in the surf and some great Perch and not so great thornfish in the estuary (which is currently open).

Hopefully I will see you all at the next social!!!

Nice to have met you lot... I had a fab time except for that lovely road and the 1.73849 km walk..lol!!!!

1 scronny lil kobbie of about 40cm on chokka.... unfortunately, he got badly gut hooked :( put him back into the water and he washed out...

When are we doing this again?

The Rbay Managment decided to send our Junior development team,

So the whole Durban team managed to only catch one fish more than the whole of our development team, you Durban guys have no hope, organise the next round, and we will field the full team.

habib if the conditions are fine then we can go to the GAP.
