Currently shoals of big leeries are beaching themselves, mussel cracker, sharks,cob,shad everywhere, rocks are full up. Its very sad to see. I think the entire population of fish inside the port is going to be wiped out. Also Coega being a nature reserve and green harbour have done NOTHING to clear up the masses of dead fish!
This is a catastrophic event and the impact is going to be massive.

The best thing for a nature reserve to do is to let the natural phenomenen run its course without human interference.
There is already human interference in the form of the harbour that was built and has trapped these fish. For this reason it may be important for humans to interfere further and try and get these fish out.grootvis wrote:
