Thanks for all the  greetings. "Ja" just like a newbie it takes a bit of time to find your sea legs through all the posts.

Anybody got some info on the prawns in Milnerton lagoon, heard they are back in town.

:fishn Hi there guys! I'm also new here! What a wonderful site! I browsed through some articles and posts yesterday and how pleasantly surprised I was to see how helpful most of the guys are!

Since I stay in Lydenburg I mostly do freshwater fishing these days but also love sea angling which is where I was taught to fish by my dad. Places like Langebaan, Stilbaai, Kleinmond, Jeffrey's Bay and the Natal and Mozabique coasts. My parents stay in Kleinmond in the western cape now so I do most of my sea angling there or in that area when I visit. It was good to see that a lot of members are also of that area and provide a good deal of info about the fishing there, Thank you!

Hi guys I am looking for some info on the fishing spots in and around Cape Town aswell as species that are caught here as I am new in the area. I will try catch anything with gills and fins. youre help would be appreciated as i am getting serious withdrawal symtoms from lack of fishing
