Yes of course they work!! I foul hooked a passing crab on one in the Umfolozi Estuary!

Seriously, surely they have to work - they just LOOK so good!

Reefman,

You have been caught.:sha

You are of course aware that most fishing lures are designed to catch fishermen rather than fish.

I must say that the more I read your guys input, the more I realise how little I know about the timeless art of fishing. I mean, being able to distinguish a fish's sexual orientation on casual inspection is absolutely incredible! How does one identify a "mof" grunter? ::H

yozuri is actually a brand name, but it's kind of like vaccum cleaners that people call hoovers even though that's not the brand. there are loads of types that look like shrimps, fish or just glitter skirts. they do work well in the right conditions. i've got mullet, pinky, carranteen etc on them. they are deadly for maabanker off harbour walls, jetties etc...even small shad cant resist...

I'll be getting some lures myself next week and I'll post my resuls when they work.
I'll  mainly be using it from a fishing ski and August I'm going to Tugela Mouth Resort.
So I'll be cathing my big ones there.

Cheers
