caught sun burn, while being caught by the fish. since saturday to monday not one bite. the area the i was puting my lines in was very small, acuracy & everything. but the vaal fish didnt want to bite. only one small boy caught two fish on the entire resort.

Yea we were in st lucia (terrible conditions) water was brown brown brown. Weather was terrible, even hit deep sea and it was blackish water got 1 +-4kg tuna and that was it.

Slid out the tuna head after we cooked and ate the rest and nothing, slid full squid and nothing. We tried everything and then yesterday morning before leaving for JHB got a little striped mullet while spinning.

So was not a great fishing weekend in st lucia at all. .

But was fun to be out of JHB for 4 days

Hi Guys,

Quite a few garrick were landed at Umvoti mouth during the long weekend.
A monster of 24 kg was landed on Saturday.
My boet managed to get a 15 kg one yesterday and his friend got a 9 kg. The garrick were taken on live mullet.

Shad are also prolific at Tinley Manor and New Guelderland.
