A yellowtail in 12-13deg water! After getting quota in the morning we had a quick look around the bellows, water temp the same there as in buffels and also lots of marks on the finder. Had they rappies out just in case but no hits.
The only yellowtail around obviously was lying frozen at the botom of buffels and got foul hooked by that commercial![]()

The commercial guys have around 20 baitlines in between the 10 guys onboard. They have a lot of bait in the water. If you want to get the fish to your boat, cut up some bait and chum a bit. Works like a bomb! Even when they dissapear, chum for 1 min and they'll be back. Thanks to the guys that helped me catch my first snoek. It was great, something i never thought was possible. But with all your help we did it.Buffels slip was no problem.Stayed there for 5 hours and got 7 snoek. still happy anyway.Just want to know how the commercials keep the snoek by there boat. When the snoek comes to us they hit and run away for 20 - 30 min at a time.
