PROUD to be a dad, took my oldest boy off-shore for the first time and he managed this nice Lantern (Cave Bass). Don't know who was the proudest, him or me! Love sharing these times with my boys. Maybe not the biggest but it is a monster in our minds ::hapmad

JFE, it is certainly not the size or how many fish, but the fact that you can share a common passion with your son.
I have two boys 5 and 3 and they already outfishing dad. As you say, not sure who it prouder!!!
Enjoy your special times with them and well done to your little man.

Well done to the little man! I have two boys 7 and 5 and they are fishing mad. My youngest asks me everyday when are we going fishing. It is awesome when they share the same passion.

Well done Junior, and JFE.

This is one time when size does not matter. I am ceratin he enjoyed it as much as you did - definitely a proud moment for any dad. I did not catch anything bigger on my fisrt trip offshore (apart from sea sickness)..... and I was probably 7 or 8 times his age !!!!

May he be blessed with many more catches.
