After a very uneventfull weekend fishing wise myself and Deon decided to fish one of the spots we have not fished in years due to safety reasons. Fishing was very slow and we each got a good size grunter with me only getting one 48cm cobby. Did not bother tacking a pic of mine. Here's a pic of my bud with his fish. He was super stocked with this one.

Thats a proper grunter! Well done to your buddy. I know there isnt a brick wall in the background, but what was the length?

No clue on the length bud. But one thing is for sure, the fillet cut in half fills a big pan, so that would mean it's big enough.

@Mark you it's only a pleasure bud.

@DV would have taken a pic of my cobbie but got him in the dark. No point in taking a pic if it's going to look kaka. Hell did not even take a pic of my grunter due to fears of hearing it aint 3kg's.

Judging from Deon`s unique waistline that could very well be a huge grunt!
Like I said Brad, not even going to try and give an indication on the weight, but ja hey you know how big the man is, and my grunt was about 2cm shorter but had a lot less width on the body.
