I have just received confirmation from SAMIE that he has already booked his accommodation for this weekend. This lady (Marleine ??) apparrently rents out all the bungalows and can be contacted on 082 342 5171. The cost is R 380-00 per night per bungalow although not sure if it is for 4 or 6 people.

Sea Girl and myself will again be going in the caravan and might be joined by 3 others. Over the weekend Marthin indicated that his wife will also be joining that weekend so he will be there. Kaspaas also indicated during a conversation a week or so ago that his wife will be joining for the weekend. As far as I know Faheem and his gang will be there and after the couple of sessions that Rinex had with us I am sure he will also be able to make a plan. As it is Monty's Club I am sure he will be there too. Dafishking I am sure will also not miss out if at all possible.

So far it looks like 10 members and 7 guests - let's see if we cannot get the tally up to at least 30 because if it is going to be anything like the previous visit to Pearly Beach (Which I missed due to my neck operation) it is going to be seriously good.

So please reply to this thread if you will be joining us at Pearly Beach.

I'm keen to join. Will confirm with the wifey and let you know. How far is it from hermanus / kleinmond? My father in law has a holiday house in the area which I can stay at and drive through for the comp.

+-15 to 20 min from Kleinmond to Hermanus and then another 45 min to Pearly Beach depending on the speed you drive. Stick to the speed limit as that stretch of road is full of cameras ans mobile speedtraps.

Sadly, it looks like I can't attend. Wifey just informed me we have a wedding to go to on the 9th. DOH!

I’m definitely there. Regarding accommodation, want to stay in Pearly but don’t want to book a bungalow on my own or is there other spots I can bunk?

 

When is the next meeting, I unfortunately missed the previous one.
