Morning guy's. Firstly, yes we got our rear ends handed to us on Saturday. I am not going to make any excuses the Border chaps did well. I do think that is because they are used to fishing for small fish and Mark forgot the pier in P.E. Thanks to all who attended the comp it was lekka to meet some of the Border chaps.

A special thanks to Dean and his crew for organizing the event.

PS: if any of the guys from E.L. know's "buddy" could you please pm me his cell number. I so much want to join him at Mazzepa to go and swim 70kg bronzies.

We will have to wait for the points before we or Border blanktips can claim a win. In the end it is points vs anglers.

Thanks to all the guys that fished and made the effort it was a fantastic week end for all those who came down. Well done to the Border anglers that took part and won the day. Well done to all the guys who won prizes especially Craig Naude for winning the Samsung for a 85cm Sandshark 2.1kg's and Daniel my little champ fisherman for winning the juniors.  After adding and re adding the points Top angler for the day was Dave Drennan with 278.8  who just beat myself with 261.6 points into first place. I just couldn't catch a dog shark.  Dave you fished like a Demon and deserved to win with all the effort he put in to helping bring anglers to the comp thanks for all your hard work in making the comp a success Dave. Hopefully we will see most of you next year at the Pro 220 tournament also to be fished in the Kasouga area in April. The full results will be posted on the RASSPL web site as soon as I can add them all up.

I would also like to thank Frosty Owen and the two anchors their wives for helping with registration and a big thank you to Roy for all the help in putting the comp together. To all our sponsors that made the comp the success Howard from JW Apex Fin-Nor Dave from Billimoria Tackle Ranesh from Shimano, Island tribe, Shaun from Mad mullet, Warren from Techni Perline, Evan from Bait Buddy, Stuart from Mc Arthy's Theo from TJs Tackle Ashly Meyers Motors, Owen from Hi Q, Target Line,  Hagga Hagga Hotel, Mazepa Bay Hotel, Ikwezi Signs, Mr Baxter Spargs Super Spar, Theo from Quality Baits, One Stop Fish shop, Craig and Trophy from Awa- Shima, Grant from My Pond and East Coast Agencies.
The next EP raggies comp will be at Paradise from Walskipper to Krom mouth Biggest Steenie will win a Samsung Flatty for the bar we already have some Shimano and Fin Nor prizes left over to add to the prizes so we should have some fantastic prizes for the next comp. The comp will be fished from 5:00am to 12:00 mid day. To qualify for the main prize you need to bring 5 new anglers to the comp to register and those five will also qualify to win. The five anglers you bring to the comp can pay R120 to enter.

See you at the next comp in January and thanks to all the anglers that fished this year. The Kasouga competition was the best supported competition to date
