Hey boet, was nice finally putting a face to the username!! No, he had some hassles with his lathe, hopefully it will get sorted when I get back in a month. My reel is already a monster, can't wait to see what it will be able to do after the conversion!!!

Let me tell you something about that hybrid boet,I bought the first one from Jonathan and man does that baby run......till now I never fish without it!

I just live around the corner from Bakoven(Camps Bay)! At first i was led to beleive you are not allowed to fish the Western Sea Board; much to my absolute joy i beleive you can!!!

Any help on rigs & bait would be greatly appreciated(newby)!!!

Look in the knots and traces section there are allot of info as to Galjoen fishing. There is also a nice post doen by Galjoen on the forum. You would find the search function also to be evry helpfull.
