Watter plaat? Gruis of De Kelders se kant.
Strepie is right ..... lekker cob are caught from haaiklip at Franskraal on a pretty regular basis in summer. It's nice and close to Gansbaai and is a nice "user friendly" spot. Caught a great geelbek there a few weeks back , aswell as a few elf.
Same night I got a monster hit with an awesome run and then working the line back onto the reel, got reefed solid and broke free about 15 minutes later without the fish (damn!) . Locals reckoned it was musselcracker. Quite likely as my 5/0 was seriously mangled.
Frodo & Osama gaan daar wees!! Gaan ons ophook vir 'n "Gruis" mission? Wil 'n geelstert koppie uitstuur en kyk as daar 'n Raggie of ses rondswem!!

I caught this 72cm steenie at De Kelders this weekend in terrible water and wind conditions, on prawn. Notice that it is one of those fish against the bricks photo's, so all the hansworse can have their way with it. The photo was taken with an eight year old cellphone, send by MMs to a phone with bluetooth and then finally captured here on this page.
