ah and also check your live bait well is sealed to the top on the inside.. i kept losing liveys and then figured out they fell into the boat, the water escapes throught the wet deck system but not the fish.., smell not to cool after a month or two!!
suprise you do have one!! its next to the port side motor! its also insulated so it keeps beer cold for booze cruizes.., you just need to fit the pump and tubing.. gonna get ours done soon, so will let you know how that goes, same pump for live well and deck wash..
Ya standard stuff boat makers claim add to the price.. bull, its laziness.. ill post some picks of small modes we have done tommorrow that are usefull, drill holes in corners of the fiber glass under the seat so water under the seat falls into the storage area underneath where the batterys etc are stored.. then it will run out.
anything else give me a shout. services are excellent at aqua mall but beware labour charges are bloody high, so if you want to change something try do it your self first
excited for you man, you gonna love her!!!!!!
well done on the fish as well, nice karma to get on the first trip! there has been tuna blood on that deck before if i am not mistaken so it wont be long before you add fresh scales and blood and slime!!!
ya tackle is not cheap, i also had a arc fish duc till about two weeks ago, sold it to another sealine member joey, took me about an hour to blow most of the cash on rod holders and fuel tanks and other tackle!!! bought a tyrnos 30 2 speed, 24kg mono and a daiwa stp 15. really like it, think its a great set up 24kg set up and the experienced guys i spoke to recommened it. Chatted to hammertime about taking to boat to the colour line and deep in really fair weather and that is when i started making moves towards gearing our boat.. plan is to get 2 more of those rigs and a harness. the rig comes to about 4 grand which is not bad considering the price of just one tiagra.!!. gonna work with those three rigs first.. once we have baited a fish or been pist off with a lack of rods will get more....
It was really "ombeskof" around the point today, real baptism of fire for a first trip.Took her out for the first time this morning in dome crappy weather, managed to catch a few fish!
