Hi Neil
Had Simen and a few other Sealiners in the warehouse this week and played around with the various braids and demonstrated some stitching to make a loop in the braid for cats paw connection and then for a Bristol using either thick braid or or mono.
All solid braids can be stitched but most effective and do-able from 40lbs up, maybe with 30lbs. I've been stitching my whiplash to make connector loops for the past year now because it gives the strongest and securest connector loop, I then catspaw mono topshot and then use the bristol knot with a few extra turns for braid or mono leaders
Been testing joining 2 x braids by splicing and the results are absolutely awesome, in fact I think I might just do a picture post on some stitches because the connection is tiny and super strong as near as Dammit to 100% the original breaking strain.
I am putting an order in for braids this week and I can get 100lbs in 50 or 150yds and in either, green, white, yellow, red, pastel blue or red.
I have 20, 30, 40, 50, 65, and 80lbs in stock, the 40 and 50 in 600yds and the others in 300yds. All available in Green or Yellow.
BTW the braids are knot strength rated so on a 33 turn bimini you'll get 18-19.5kg breaking on the 40lbs this outperforms many other braids that are rated as high as 50lbs.
