When time allows I'll make the st francis trip

For bow the bully must bully small sharks !

So I've used it twice and caught 2 sharks, becoming my lucky rod
Then my LF Sharky,
Lost another shark on it, a gully of 1.5m, fast become the most bad luck rod I've ever owned

Funny
I put more pressure on fish with the spinning rod than with the Sharky rod

i tried stitching 20pound (on reel) to 80pound (leader) and did not really work out. quiet diffficult to get the needle through 20 pound.

tried double uni knot and my rod eyes did not like that.

any other sujjestion to join the 2?. i would love to have that 80 pound braid leader so i can put out a good shot. 20 pound aint to kind on the fingers

Some time tonight I'll post new knot i learned on the internet from the USA braid fishing Guru's. Been making it and testing it all day.

It's called the "Bob sands Knot" and will be in the knots and rigs section

Had a look at your post on this. I was looking for your post on splicing braid to main line because the stitched loop & cats paw is awesome but just takes too long.

Thank you Enigma!!!! I'll be practicing the "Bob Sands Knot" tonight.

Fight was about 4-5 min, then it tool 10 minutes to get her to swim away from the pier again
Once on the beach I pulled her in in 2 tics

The secret is short pumps, reel down and repeat the process over and over again

She tried very hard to get in between the pillars !

Next target ... 100kg raggie ...

Its prep work for that tail !
Leaders still holding out
