Take the face plate that is around the switches and have them engraved with the function of each switch.....no stickers!
Awesome craftmanship!

Update time

Almost done:
Just seat backing plates, cooler box lid and centre seat and buff polish the sides and she's ready for rigging

Shannon ... probably a stupid question, but have you insured the boat yet? Can you insure it yet?

You better insure it and very fast cause it sounds like you might just have an unknown visit in the early hours of a morning someday by Mombakkie...:):spite:spite

Hehehe

Seriously though, it could spontaneously combust, a tree could fall on it or a tornado could carry it off and drop it in my back yard ....

Wow guys thanks for the nice comments.

Mombakkie, don't even think about it :fbash
No seriously, I still need to, will have the trailer papers next week so I will insure it as soon as I have a reg number.

I still don't have a motor (and can't afford one yet), so it will still be sometime before she gets splashed, but the tree falling on it thing has me worried, as I have a huge tree hanging over the whole boat. So best I get it sorted soon. Thanks for the reminder

dude congrats well done....don't sell yourself short cos a boat like that would easily cost over R120,000.00....a project that was started in oct 2008 and is now almost done......all that time and effort has paid off.....congrats

Shannon, I have seen many boats through the building stage and I must say you have done a brilliant job of it in fact you could classify your self as a master boat boat builder. If you want to part with your plans/drawing then please put me on your list.

Only to make one for myself and not for market.

Thank you

You can buy the plans from here
http://www.bateau.com/
A purchase of plans from them gives you licence to build 1 boat only. I despise companies that run around plugging other designers boats, so distributing a designers plans without his consent kinda falls into the same category.
I don't even have the right to sell my own set of plans.
